Edward Kopko


Over a career spanning 30+ years, Ed Kopko has been an integral part of hundreds of business and real estate transactions. His experience includes financing acquisitions, capital raising, debt refinancing, going public, buyouts, managing companies, and buying and selling businesses and real estate of all types. He brings the lessons learned to the entities and properties he and the Kopko LLC family of companies invest in and help manage.

Doug Rifenburg

– General manager

Doug brings years of construction and property management expertise to Kopko Advisors. Prior to joining Kopko Advisors, Doug worked in municipal and commercial construction as a project manager and client support. Doug’s previous roles included stints with Johnson Controls, Georgia-Pacific and Herring & Riverbank Construction. A graduate of The Cameron School of Business at University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Doug also served 8 years in the US Army working in Military Intelligence internationally.
